Adaptive Environments offers resource materials on design, accessibility standards, guidelines and legislation. Click on the Resource section and read or download articles on Universal Design.

Guide to Disability Resources on the Internet is produced by Disability Resources Monthly. This site is designed for consumers, libraries, disability organizations and professionals. They comb the web regularly to find the best resources available. The section on assistive technology is extensive.

National Business & Disability Council (NBDC) provides a full range of services to assist corporations in successfully integrating people with disabilities into the workplace and marketplace, including: a National Resume Database®, job postings, accessibility surveys, an information hotline, and training services.

Check out the improved SATIRN V, a comprehensive information and referral database of programs and services.

The Work RERC (Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Workplace Accommodations) identifies, designs, and develops devices and systems to help people with disabilities be more productive in the workplace. A primary focus of the Center is the use of universal design concepts — the design of products and environments to be usable by all workers, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation or specialized design. The Workplace RERC has projects involving Research, Development, Training, Technical Assistance, and Dissemination.
