This presentation prepares social workers, school psychologists, counselors, nurses and other professional staff working in diverse schools to provide culturally informed support following the death of student, explains how support professionals can help diverse schools cope with death, integrate cultural knowledge in school bereavement practices, extend support to diverse families and communities and consider development of school plans for bereavement. 75 minutes . $49 Certificate of Completion for one hour of continuing education from Abilities! will be issued for participants.
